I am tasked with establishing a monitoring and evaluation system(s) for the South African government Gender Justice Programme with emphasis on the gender-based violence programme. We have adopted a multi-sectoral approach to fighting the gbv scourge i.e., working with various sectors in the country. Where do I start? Any step-by-step guide in executing this mammoth task?

I’m looking for any advice, templates or even pointers in the right direction for the best means of reporting back to donors on results of M&E efforts. We have taken a log frame approach to our M&E so will have both quantitatibe and qualitative results to report on. Would be really interested to hear how other organisations have reported on log frames and whether there are particularly effective templates etc… to work from.
